Share An Opportunity Uganda (SAO U) is a Christian child-centered Non-Governmental Organization that began its operations in 1991 and was officially registered as an NGO in 2002. The organization is affiliated with the Baptist Union of Uganda and is committed to empowering communities to nurture and protect children for holistic development.
From its grassroots beginnings in 1991, SAO U has grown into a mature, impact-driven organization working across several districts, including Abim, Buikwe, Mbale, Sironko, Kaberamaido, Hoima, and Kikuube. Over the years, SAO U has expanded and refined its integrated community development model to respond to emerging social, economic, and environmental needs.
